Same quality content, new virtual venue
2020 has been a challenging year – globally, nationally, regionally, and locally! Despite the setbacks that have plagued (literally) our campus and our research projects in Greece, we found some creative ways to come together and to carry on with our work. We want to share that work with you and provide you with the fun updates you’ve come to expect from us! The continuing health crisis, however, does not make it safe for us to convene in-person on the U.C. Berkeley campus as we normally do. Instead, we hope you will join us online. Virtual Nemea Night 2020 will bring you up to speed with our progress, give you a sense of how we’re continuing our mission under fluctuating circumstances, and lay out our agenda for the coming academic year. As usual, our director, Dr. Kim Shelton, will lead us through an informative talk with exclusive photos and videos. Our virtual celebration will take place on Tuesday, December 8th, from 6:00 -7:30pm PT.
Normally, Nemea Night is an invitation-only soiree. Since sending physical invitations can only occur in a limited way this year, we’re asking our donors, supporters, and friends to register online for the event by clicking here. The link will bring you to a new page with a short registration form for you to fill out. Once you’ve filled it out and submitted it, you’ll automatically receive an email with a private link to the event. Easy peasy!
If you have any questions or difficulties in registering, please email us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can’t attend but want to show the Nemea Center your support? You can send us a donation directly by following this link!
We hope you’ll grab a glass of your favorite Greek wine (check out the some wine varieties here, we suggest the Agiorgitiko from Nemea) and go on a virtual journey with us! See you on Tuesday, December 8th, at 6:00pm!
