Nemea’s feline friends
In honor of International Cat Day, we’d like to take a moment to recognize the cats of Ancient Nemea. It’s no secret that 2020 has been a year full of surprises and hardships for the world. Every day these feline companions of ours bring moments of joy and much-needed cuddles to the staff, students, and researchers working in the museum. Spot, Marigold, and Poppy, in particular, have grown up in the museum and are loved by all.
Below we share a few images that capture some of the typical moments of life in the workroom and on the archaeological site grounds. Thank you, kitties, for making our work so much more enjoyable!
