Nemea Night is back for 2018 and we are ready to share all of our exciting updates from the field!
Nemea Night is a festive and informative event held in December of each year in honor of the Nemea Center's donors. This year's event includes a reception at 6:30pm with Mediterranean-style morsels and Nemean wine followed by an illustrated lecture (7:30pm) in which Dr. Shelton reports to donors, faculty, and students about the recent activities of the Nemea Center that were made possible by our donors' generous support.
This year, Nemea Night will be taking place on Tuesday, December 4th. We will celebrate in the East Pauley Ballroom (upstairs in the ASUC Student Union building) on the UC Berkeley campus. Nemea Center Director, Dr. Kim Shelton, will share our team's progress for both the 2017 AND 2018 summer seasons - - and we will have A LOT to share, so we hope you'll come with both physical and intellectual appetites! As always, donors can expect to mingle with students (both undergraduate and graduate) that have worked in recent excavation seasons and/or in the Nemea Archive. There will be time to share stories over Nemean wine as well as to hear about the team's incredible accomplishments.
The Pauley Ballroom is located inside the Student Union building: 2475 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, CA 94720, USA. Click here to see a map of the building. Questions or comments can be directed to Dr. Kim Shelton, firstname.lastname@example.org.
See you in December!
