Nemea Night is a festive and informative event held in December of each year in honor of the Nemea Center's donors. This event includes a reception of Mediterranean morsels and Nemean wine followed by an illustrated lecture, in which Dr. Shelton reports to the donors on the activities of the Center during the previous year that were undertaken and/or accomplished as a result of their generous support.
This year, Nemea Night will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. There will be a reception at 6:30 pm, followed by a lecture at 7:30. It will be held in the Alumni House on the UC Berkeley campus. As always, students of the most recent excavation season will mingle and exchange stories with former participants and donors, sharing the delights of Greek treats and Nemean wine.
Alumni House is located on the south side of the UC Berkeley Campus; east of the Haas Pavilion, north of Zellerbach Hall, and southwest of Dwinelle Hall. The nearest off-campus intersection is Bancroft Way and Dana, which is just downhill from the intersection of Telegraph Ave and Bancroft Way.
