Nemea Night

Nemea Night 2019 has concluded, please stay tuned for information about Nemea Night 2020!

Nemea Night is a festive and informative event held in December of each year in honor of the Nemea Center's donors. This year's event included a reception at 6:30pm with Mediterranean-style morsels and Nemean wine followed by an illustrated lecture (7:30pm) in which Dr. Shelton reported to donors, faculty, and students about the recent activities of the Nemea Center that were made possible by our donors' generous support.

This year, Nemea Night took place on Wednesday, December 4th. We celebrated in the East Pauley Ballroom (upstairs in the ASUC Student Union building) on the UC Berkeley campus. Nemea Center Director, Dr. Kim Shelton, shared our team's progress during 2019 both on and off the field - - so our donors and friends were able to satisfy both their physical and intellectual appetites! As always, donors mingled with students (both undergraduate and graduate) that have worked in recent excavation seasons and/or in the Nemea Archive. There was time to share stories over Nemean wine as well as to hear about the team's incredible accomplishments.

The Pauley Ballroom is located inside the Student Union building: 2475 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, CA 94720, USA. Click here to see a map of the building. Questions or comments can be directed to Dr. Kim Shelton,
